How can I view the presentations on a Macintosh?

Currently the software we use to bundle Coptic Presentations only runs on Windows. We are always looking for a solution for this problem so that Mac users can also run the software. If you have any suggestions with refrence to this issue please contact us!

How to install Coptic Fonts?

To install the fonts needed for Coptic Presentations software:

1. Go to your Start menu and click on Control Panel
2. Click on the Fonts folder
3. Click on File and go down to Install New Font
4. Navigate under the Folders section and find the folder where you
downloaded your fonts and click OK.

How to run CP on a Macintosh (Mac) System? Method 1

Mac computers that have Leopard (Mac OS 10.5) can run a program called boot camp. This program allows Macs to start up their computers in windows mode. The only thing that these computers need is Windows. People have to buy Windows XP (Professional or Home Edition or any other type) or Vista and install it in their computer. That is the easiest way to run windows on a Mac and use the presentations.

The other way is for Mac users to go to www.parallels.com and buy the program from the front page. This program allows Mac users to run Windows in a small window, while still running Mac OS. For this, you still also need to have Windows XP or Vista program on a disk and install it on the Mac OS.

How to run CP on a Macintosh (Mac) System? Method 2

This is by far the best/easiest/fastest way to run CP on Mac OS X Leopard and it only works on Macs that are using Intel Processors.

To run CP on Mac OS X, follow these steps (This only works on Macs with Intel Processors):

Download CP
Download and Install CrossOver or CrossOver Pro for Mac.
Run CrossOver on your Mac
When asked about the software you want to install, you will see on bottom left a button that says install unsupported software or something like that. Alternatively, you can click configure on the CrossOver Finder bar and choose Install Software.
This will then create a bottle for the software, you can leave it alone until prompted to choose the path or the source of the software you wish to install.
Browse to the downloaded CP file and choose it. It will do the rest.

Now whenever you want to open CP, all you have to do is either search using Spotlight on your mac. You can also open Home, then Applications, choose CrossOver and choose Presentations Menu and open the program.
