The 10th Annual 5K is this Saturday! Due to extraordinary circumstances, the race registration has been moved to 11:00 AM with an official start time of 1:00 PM. That being said, we’ll see you, your friends, your parents, your kids, your priest, your cousins from Egypt and everyone else at the run!
Schedule of Events:
Registration – 11:00 AM -12:30 PM: Registration will take place nearby the pavilion area. Look for the big banner. Runners will get their wristbands, bibs and t-shirts. Your bib numbers and chip technology will be used by Rock Race Timing in recording your running times. At 12:45, all the runners will gather at the start line.
Race Begins – 1:00 PM: Runners are off! The start line is right nearby the pavilion area. This will also be the finish line. Signs will be posted along the course directing the runners. We will also station people along the course to help direct. For a better look at the park, see HERE.
Board Presentation & Awards Ceremony – 3:00 PM: The Church Board will present on the progress made in planning for the new church construction. The reverend fathers will then award the three fastest male and female runners, along with the top fundraiser. Awards will also be given to the three fastest runners of the junior races. (Donations will still be accepted, but the tallying for highest fundraiser stops at 2:30 PM). Run fast because the prizes this year are awesome! Closing remarks will be given. Don’t leave yet! There’s still a barbecue going on the rest of the day.

IMPORTANT – Junior Runners: HEREis a permission slip for your parents to sign waiving liability. PLEASE bring this with you as you register for the run in the pavilion. This is REQUIRED.
